Effectiveness and Impact

Evaluation findings and impact statements:

The NASA Know Your Earth Campaign is evaluated internally through the collection of numbers of people to our social media sites and city viewership (provided by outside vendor like Clear Channel Outdoor). Since the number of people seeing the Know Your Earth Campaign is in the tens of millions, specific data is tough to collect.

Since this campaign recently finished its third phase, we are still in the final evaluation process.

The targets for the program were to hit millions of people with the understanding that NASA does amazing Earth Science Research and to bring the local connection to them. So far, we have hit an estimated 75-100 million people with this campaign over 3 years.
